John Christopher

John joined us in 2006 and specialises in working on the planning aspect of our business, liaising with clients, architects and Council representatives to ensure the best result for our clients. John has a wealth of knowledge in building, surveying and architecture, having previously trained as a civil engineer. He holds an HNC in Building Construction and has considerable experience in land surveying and the production of topographical drawings. John's knowledge of construction is proving extremely useful in our discussions regarding what can and cannot be achieved in regards to building proposals whilst exploring ways of integrating trees and buildings.

John has also gained a Foundation Degree in Arboriculture, this time as a total distance learning package from Myerscough College.  He passed his Degree with Merit in the Summer of 2009.

He has also successfully completed the LANTRA, tree inspection course, and the "Getting to Grips with Subsidence" course, so he is constantly expanding his area of expertise and is a valuable staff member.

Outside of the office John is a keen Ebay wheeler and dealer and likes to go surfing when the weather is good.
